Caleb McCasland joined Patriot Capital in 2024. Today Caleb is responsible for the Texas and Greater Southwest markets and leads sourcing, structuring, execution, and portfolio management from Patriot’s Dallas office. Caleb also leads Patriot’s Technology investments nationwide.
Before joining Patriot, Caleb worked in for two publicly traded banks, then was most recently a Vice President at Susser Bank, where he and his team built a sponsor finance practice from the ground up and invested over $230 million across 40+ transactions. Outside of Patriot, Caleb is on the board of the DFW Private Equity Forum, the 1911 group, and is active in the Small Business Investor Alliance.
A 5th generation Texas native, he lives in Dallas with his wife, Karna, son James, and their two Australian Shepherds, Pepper and Chloe. Outside of work, Caleb is an avid supporter of Dallas sports (including SMU Football) and enjoys hunting, fishing, ranching, and live music (playing and listening).
